Sony has announced two new smartphones with a lower price range. Models Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus, will soon go on sale in India. In fact, these are two absolutely identical smartphones, their only difference is the amount of internal and operative memory.
On November 10, Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus will go on sale in India. They can be purchased in two colors: black and silver. Prices are as follows, the basic version costs 12,990 rupees (about 200 dollars), and the option Plus – 14990 rupees (about 230 dollars).
Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus are the same phone. The difference lies in the amount of operational and internal memory. The cheaper model has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, and that is more expensive – 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The remaining specifications are the same for both smartphones.
Sony Xperia R1 (Plus) has a 5.2-inch HD screen, an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with an Adreno 505 GPU, 8 and 13 megapixel cameras, and a 2620 mAh battery. The phones also received an LTE modem with VoLTE and two separate SIM card slots. A slot for a microSD memory card, do not share with any of the SIM cards.
