Sharp is one of those manufacturers who very much likes to experiment, all of its new smartphones are different from each other. Another highlight of this manufacturer will be a new model, which has already received a corresponding certificate, giving it the right to a market debut.
The design of Sharp smartphones may or may not, but in terms of specification, in the vast majority, the company makes very good devices with excellent components. The situation is different with the new model Sharp FS8018, which has already received a Chinese certificate. And this means that his premiere is just around the corner.
As reported by TENAA, Sharp FS8018 is equipped with a TFT display with a diagonal of 5.48 inches and a resolution of 2040 × 1080. This permission confirms, although it is not visible in the photos – that there will be a hole at the top of the screen, as in the Sharp Aquos S2 presented in August. The heart of the smartphone is an 8-core processor with a clock speed of at least 2.2 GHz, which suggests that this is either Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. It is possible that both shots are good, and the market will have two versions (with such the same situation we also encountered in the aforementioned Aquos).
Sharp FS8018 will be available in a configuration with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal memory. In addition, the user will be able to expand the built-in memory with microSD memory cards with a maximum capacity of up to 128 GB. On the back of the smartphone you will find a single main camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels, and in front is a 20 megapixel camera. The fingerprint scanner will stand in front, under the screen.
Sharp FS8018 runs under the operating system Android 7.1.1 Nougat and draw energy from a non-removable battery with a capacity of 2930 mAh, most likely with the support of fast charging technology via USB port Type C. It has the following dimensions: 142.7x73x7.8 mm and weighs 140 grams.
This smartphone should debut in January, possibly in February, on the occasion of the exhibition MWC 2018 in Barcelona.
