Galaxy Note 9

Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Which processor will get a new Korean device?

I just adore situations when a smartphone did not have time to debut yet, but already talk about his successor. Well, this sometimes happens, and now we are dealing with this situation. All because we are waiting for the premiere of Galaxy Note 8 (in the second half of September), and meanwhile there are already the first reports on Galaxy Note 9.

Curiously, what do they concern? But you already know the answer is in the header. So, in the Chinese social network Weibo, information has appeared that the Galaxy S9 will receive the Exynos 9810 processor. For its production, Samsung is rumored to use the 10-nm process technology, that is, the same as in the Exynos 8895. The novelty is that It will support CDMA networks.

Well, you probably wonder what Exynos 9810 and Galaxy S9 have in common with Galaxy Note 9. You probably think that this processor will stand on both devices, but it’s not. The company decided to break its tradition, which was maintained for several years.

Galaxy Note 9 should get a processor, which will be built in the lower, that is, more advanced technological process. It is said that Koreans use 8- or 7-nm. Due to this, it is possible to raise the frequency and simultaneously reduce the demand for energy.

At the moment it’s hard to say if this rumor turns out to be true. In recent years, there have been regular reports that the new Galaxy Note will receive a different processor than the Galaxy S of the same year, but in the end it turned out that both devices work with the same processor. In 2018, everything will be different? Maybe yes, maybe not. But many say that Samsung is investing in both the 8- and 7-nm process, so it certainly once uses it. The only question is, when? Samsung Galaxy Note 9 should debut in the third quarter of 2018.
