Rumors about Nokia’s new flagship have been coming to us for several months, but it seems that they will soon have to materialize into something more concrete. Since the Nokia 9 smartphone was certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), from where we learned the details of its specification, and even a photo of this phone appeared on the network.
Let’s start with a photo that was published in the Chinese social network Weibo. Nokia 8 has a top specification, thanks to which the equipment can compete with other flagships, but in terms of design it is inferior to its competitors. The manufacturer will try to correct this mistake with Nokia 9, which will receive a more modern design. The photo shows that the equipment will receive very thin frames around the display, as well as a double front camera and a metal case in a blue hue. Unfortunately, we do not yet have information on how the back of the device will look.
From the documentation of the FCC it follows that the phone will be equipped with a 5.5-inch OLED display from LG (do not know the resolution), a Snapdragon 835 processor, 128 GB of internal memory such as UFS 2.1, a dual rear camera (12 MP + 13 MP), a battery with a capacity 3250 mAh with the ability to quickly charge (18W) and the operating system Android 8.0 Oreo. In the test, writes that the front camera has a resolution of 5 MP, but this is the resolution of only one lens, and there will be two.
We will find out the exact information on January 19, at which time the official announcement of this smartphone should take place. This phone will be slightly worse than other flagships of 2018, because later on the market will start to appear devices with Snapdragon 845, but Nokia 9 can bypass competitors with the help of an attractive price.
