Meizu Pro 7 phone

The additional screen has many functions.

Models Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus – just like the Pro 6 and 6 Plus are equipped with screens Super AMOLED, which have a diagonal size of 5.2 and 5.7-inches. The smaller screen works in FullHD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), and more – QuadHD (2560 x 1440 pixels). Their manufacturer is certainly Samsung, which has a very good relationship with the Chinese company.

In Super AMOLED technology, there is also an additional 2-inch screen with a resolution of 536 × 240, which is located under the camera module on the rear panel. They are touch-sensitive, with their help you can control the selected functions of the smartphone, including control the player or notifications. It also shows basic information from pre-installed applications (for example, the number of steps taken).

This screen you can also use as a viewfinder to capture the Selfie main camera.

Meizu Pro 7 Plus review

Double chamber with a color and black and white matrix.

The Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus use the same camera. The main module is a dual camera, which uses a standard matrix (RGB) and black and white. Both lenses with a resolution of 12 megapixels are a Sony IMX386 with a size of 1, 9 inches (1.25 microns pixels).

The main camera uses optics with a f / 2.0 aperture. The focusing system is based on the phase detection mechanism, and in the difficult lighting conditions it is supported by a dual flash. The dual camera is controlled by a new MediaTek Imagiq, which supports a function similar to ClearClock by Qualcomm. What does it mean?

The data collected by the second lens will enrich the photo with a large number of details that will help to better recognize the depth, so that the bokeh effect will be more accurate.

Meizu Pro 7 Plus

One with Helio P25 and three with Helio X30.

Meizu Pro 7 Plus is the first smartphone that is based on the Helio X30 system. 10-core MediaTek solution with three core groups and productive graphics PowerVR works with 6 GB of RAM LPDDR4X. Users will be able to choose the version of the device with 64 GB or 128 GB of internal memory.

A smaller model will also be available in two versions, but they differ in the processor. The one that is cheaper is based on the 8-core Helio P25 and has 64 GB of internal memory, and the model is more expensive, also received the Helio X30 and built-in memory of 128 GB. Both versions use RAM type LPDDR4X, capacity 4 GB.

Meizu represents mCharge 4.0.

Meizu Pro 7 Plus is the first smartphone of a Chinese company that uses the fast charging standard mCharge 4.0. Thanks to the use of a 25W (5V / 5A) charger, the process of charging in the Pro 7 Plus from zero to 67 percent takes only 30 minutes. Sounds great.

I’ll add that the mCharge 4.0 standard only supports the Plus version. Both versions of Pro 7 support the slower mCharge 3.0 standard. Battery capacity in smartphones, look pretty standard. The standard version has a capacity of 3000 mAh, and in the Plus version – 3500 mAh.

Meizu Pro 7 specifications

But that’s not all add-ons.

At the presentation of smartphones Meizu also boasted an audio system Cirrus Logic CS43130, which provides an even cleaner sound as Hi-Fi (32-bit / 192 kHz). Both models have a headphone jack – 3.5 mm, and together with phones, the Chinese offer new Meizu Flow headphones.

Smartphones operate on the operating system Flyme 6, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The cases are made of metal and look pretty standard, fingerprint scanners are built into the physical home key, and small frames only on the sides of the screen.

Prices.

Flagship novelties Meizu will go on sale in the Chinese market on August 5. The prices of the models are as follows:
