WindForce 8G is another author’s version of the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. Author’s cooling, effective power and the ability to overclock the core frequencies.
Gigabyte expands the range of video cards GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. Until now, the company has offered only the model Gaming 8G, but recently it was joined by another author’s version – the WindForce 8G model.
GeForce GTX 1070 Ti WindForce 8G refer to non-relational designs. The manufacturer used here the cooling of the WindForce 2X, which includes a powerful heatsink, several heat sinks, and two 90 mm fans (thanks to the 3D Active Fan function in rest mode and load reduction they are not included).
The card also contains the Pascal GP104 graphics system with 2432 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR5 256-bit memory, and the 8-phase section is responsible for the power supply. The frequencies here are standard (ie 1607/1683 MHz for the core and 8008 MHz for memory), but thanks to the Aorus Graphics Engine authoring application you can activate OC Mode and increase the core frequencies to 1632/1721 MHz.
At your service there are five video outputs: DVI-D, HDMI, 3x DisplayPort. The additional power is supplied by the 8-pin connector, and the manufacturer recommends using a 500W power supply here.
