The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Aorus 8G will be of interest to customers planning to increase the frequency further.
The company Gigabyte does not slow down, and represents another video card such as GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Aorus 8G is the flagship card of the manufacturer, which has good cooling and the possibility of additional overclocking.
The new model uses the author’s design of the PCB, which contains the Pascal GP104 graphics system with 2432 CUDA cores, 8 GB of GDDR5 256-bit memory and 8-phase (6 + 2) power section. True, there are standard frequencies by default, but the manufacturer guarantees the potential for overclocking of the core up to 1683 MHz (1771 MHz in Boost mode) – the corresponding profile is saved in the Aorus Graphics Engine application.
One of the main advantages of the accelerator is the author’s cooling of WindForce 3X with spectacular backlighting of RGB Fusion (with the ability to control from the Aorus Graphics Engine application).
The cooling system used includes a plate that removes heat from the power section and memory modules, three powerful radiators connected by heat pipes, and all this is blown by three 80 mm fans (thanks to 3D Active Fan technology they do not work at low and medium loads). There is a plate behind it, which also removes heat from the core.
The user has five video outputs: DVI-D, HDMI, 3x DisplayPort. Additional power is supplied by the 8-pin connector, and next to you will find an indicator that informs about possible power problems.
