All previously released smartphones on the market that have screens with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 are – frankly speaking – pans. Users have repeatedly said that they would like to see a more compact device with such a display. Just their requests were materialized in the form of the Energizer Power Max P490S model.
The smartphone is equipped with a display with a diagonal of 4.95 inches. The screen has proportions of 18: 9 (2: 1) and FWVGA resolution, that is 854 × 480 pixels, where their density is 198 ppi. The heart of the device is a four-core (4x ARM Cortex-A53; 28-nm) Mediatek MT6739 1.3 GHz processor with an IMG PowerVR GE8100 graphics chip. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 32 GB.
What else will Energizer Power Max P490S please us with?
This phone also offers a dual main camera, which consists of lenses with a resolution of 8 megapixels + 0.3 megapixels (VGA). Interestingly, there is also a dual camera at the front, whose lenses have 5 megapixels and 0.3 megapixels (VGA). The smartphone also had a place for a fingerprint recognition device (it stands behind) and Dual SIM. It is worth adding that the device also supports LTE communication.
Energizer Power Max P490S is running Android 8.0 Oreo, which is a pretty pleasant surprise. The required energy for the device is provided by a 4000 mAh battery, but the manufacturer does not mention the support of fast charging technology.
The sale of Energizer Power Max P490S will begin in the second quarter of 2018. It is not yet known how much this smartphone will cost. But looking at its specification, we can say that the price will not be high.
