At the end of the past (2017), Chuwi introduced the Chuwi Hi9 tablet, which was aimed at gamers. Now the manufacturer has introduced its new version, the Chuwi Hi9 Air model, which boasts a 10-core processor MediaTek Helio X20 and LTE modem.
Chuwi Hi9 Air will have some similarities with the Chuwi Hi9, although they are likely to be smaller, the larger. The novelty of the Chinese manufacturer is equipped with an IPS display with a diagonal of 10.1 inches and a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, and their density is 299 ppi. As I said, the heart of the device is the 10-core processor MediaTek Helio X20 (2x ARM Cortex-A72 2.1 GHz + 4x ARM Cortex-A53 1.85 GHz + 4x ARM Cortex-A53 with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz; 20 nm) with the ARM Mali-T880 MP4 graphics chip. In a set with them go 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, most likely with the ability to expand using a microSD card. According to Aiwa’s declaration, this configuration will allow playing in more complex games.
There is one more important information that the company reported about this device, this is the availability of LTE modem Cat. 6. In addition it is also supported by B20 800 MHz, which can be very important for some users. Moreover, Chuwi Hi9 Air will offer not one, but two whole slots for the SIM card. The manufacturer also said that the tablet will receive a metal case with such dimensions: 241.7x172x8.2 mm.
Looking at the above photo, you can not also not notice that the frames around the display are narrow enough, but at the same time wide enough to provide a reliable grip during the use of the device. It is not known yet when exactly Chuwi Hi9 Air will go on sale and how much it will cost, but this information should appear already for a day.
