The new VivoBook S15 retains all the main advantages of the previous version, but the manufacturer endowed it with a newer and faster processor.
ASUS VivoBook S15 has recently been available in our market, but so far only in the version with Intel Core 7-th generation, but soon there will be versions with Core 8-th generation.
The VivoBook S15 (S510UN) looks the same from the outside as the older versions. We are still dealing with a 15.6-inch screen with HD resolution (1366 x 768 pixels) or Full HD (1920 x 1080 px). The main advantage of this screen in the S15 is a thin frame and wide viewing angles. In addition, this laptop boasts a full-blown backlit keyboard and a large touchpad into which the fingerprint scanner has been integrated.
The changes took place inside the device, as the manufacturer made two new versions, with the Intel Core i5-8250U and Core i7-8550U. In addition, you get up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GeForce mx150 graphics processor with 2 GB of video memory, and user data is allocated a HDD of up to 2 TB and / or SSD capacity up to 512 GB.
An audio connector, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 3.0 3.0 type C port, an HDMI output and an SD / SDHC card reader, are connected to the case, and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 is responsible for the wireless connection. The VivoBook S15 uses a 3-cell battery, thanks to the Battery Health Charging function, it can be charged up to 60% in 49 minutes.
