Without a doubt, this is one of the most beautiful versions of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. The main question is, how much will it cost? I’m sure that the price will not belong to the lowest ones.
Recently, the premiere of Assassin’s Creed Origins took place. In connection with this event, ASUS has prepared a special version of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti video card, which should interest all fans of the games series about the Assassin brotherhood.
ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix Assassin’s Creed Origins Edition is based on the project of the usual ROG GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix (OC). The manufacturer used a more powerful PCB with a Pascal GP102 graphics system with 3584 CUDA cores, 11 GB of GDDR5X 352-bit memory, and an extensive power section (10 + 2 phases).
Timing is the same as in the ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix OC model – the graphics processor was accelerated to 1594 MHz (1708 MHz, in Boost mode), and video memory to 11 100 MHz. Higher frequencies should give even higher performance.
But the main advantage of the card is the author’s, powerful cooling DirectCU III, which is made for traditional reasons, typical for the game Assassin’s Creed Origins (in addition, it uses the backlight RGB LED). We are still dealing with an efficient radiator, several heat sinks and three fans, and thanks to the 0dB Technology function, the cooler works completely quietly at rest and under low load.
What is the set of connectors? The same as in the usual Strix-DVI, 2x HDMI, 2x DisplayPort, and additional power is provided by two 8-pin connectors. The manufacturer also provided two 4-pin connectors for connecting fans from the chassis (ASUS FanConnect II).
Specification of the ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix Assassin’s Creed Origins:
- graphics system: Nvidia Pascal GP12;
- streaming download processors: 3584;
- core clock speed: 1594/1708 MHz;
- video memory: 11 GB GDDR5X 352-bit;
- memory clock speed: 11 100 MHz;

The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the price of the new card. Do you think that there are willing to buy it?
